I am finally going to start blogging! I have created this photo collage of my journey I started at 309lbs, I had my WLS on 12/12/12 and to date I have lost 58lbs. My goal weight is 150 not too thin I just want to be healthy. I have 101lbs to lose and I will get there slowly but surely. my life has changed and I am starting to notice simple things, like I walk faster, I can get up the stairs without holding on to the rail, getting up off the floor is so easy, it's strange all the little things that make a big difference. I am looking into taking nutrition classes and I am wanting to help my friends and family with their goals. Well I will be trying my hand at making videos and posting them here so wish me luck!

Today is May 1, 2012 I am starting this Blog to help myself with my Journey to Healthy Living. I was told by my doctor on Friday I am diabetic and will need to take pills and change diet, I also have High blood pressure, Anemia, and high cholesterol. I have started my pills and vitamins for these issues I need to start exercising. I will be posting reports on here of my weight 300lbs right now and of the changes in my health issues I plan to be free of these in 1 yr tops. I have already started to eat right and slowly remove Coke from my diet, I am drinking water like crazy. Tonight unpacking new house and a walk to the park with dogs. TTYL
